In a recent article published by The Forecaster, visual arts teacher Melissa Noack was honored for
her work and efforts with the Milken Center for Unsung Heroes.
Based in Kansas, the center “discovers, develops, and
communicates the stories of Unsung Heroes who have made a profound and positive
impact on the course of history.”
Students and educators are provided with the resources and support to create
projects in their own schools and communities.
As part of the fellowship, Ms. Noack will be working with Yarmouth
High School students in developing project-based learning opportunities to
celebrate these individuals through the visual arts.
